Tier 02 · Heritage

Persian heritage.
London craft.

Each piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand. The patterns come from a tradition older than London itself. The hands that finish them work in a small studio behind a green door in N1.

The Scientific Artisan

A craft that refused to mass produce.

Persa London exists because Zahra refused a shortcut. The leather is sourced from a single Italian tannery that has supplied the same family for three generations. The dye is hand-mixed. The painted florals on the bucket bag are applied with a brush, not a printer.

Every piece carries a code. Scan the QR on the inner label and the certificate of provenance opens. The artisan who finished your piece. The week it was made. The leather batch number. The colourway it was tested against before approval.

"I know what shortcut every brand has taken. I know which corners they cut. I refused all of them. The result costs more to make. The result will last longer than I will."

— Zahra, Founder · Persa London

Authenticity

Every piece is signed.

A small leather tag, gold-stamped with a unique code. Scan it with any phone camera. The certificate opens with the artisan's name, the leather batch, the date the piece was finished, and a video of the final hand-stitch.

A signature you can verify, not just trust.

This is how you check a piece is real before you buy it second-hand. This is how Zahra protects the brand from imitation. This is what scientific artistry looks like in 2026.

Common questions

A few things, answered.

Plain English. No upsell. If your question is not here, the concierge form above is read by a human.

How long does each piece take to make?

+

A finished bag takes between five and twelve hours of hand work, spread across two to three days. The leather is cut on day one, stitched on day two, finished and quality-checked on day three. Hand-painted designs add a fourth day for the paint to cure properly.

How do I know my bag is real Persa?

+

Every piece has a small leather tag stitched inside. The tag has a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera. The certificate opens with the artisan's name, the date your piece was finished, and a short video of the final stitch. If the QR does not open a Persa London certificate, the piece is not ours.

How do I look after the leather?

+

Wipe the bag with a soft, dry cloth once a week. Once a month, use a small amount of leather conditioner — Saphir or Collonil work best. Do not put the bag in direct sunlight for long periods. Do not soak it. If it does get caught in heavy rain, blot it gently and let it dry away from heat. The leather will get better with age, not worse.

Can I commission a custom piece?

+

Yes. Send a concierge enquiry through the form above. Tell us the piece you have in mind, the colours you like, and any deadline. Zahra will reply within two working days with a price and a timeline. Most commissions take six to eight weeks from approval to delivery.

Do you ship outside the UK?

+

Yes. We ship worldwide via Royal Mail tracked. UK delivery is two to three days. Europe is five to seven. The rest of the world is seven to twelve. Customs and duties for international orders are paid by the buyer at delivery.

What happens if my bag breaks?

+

Send us a photograph and your certificate code. If the break is from normal use within twelve months, we repair it free of charge. After twelve months, repairs are charged at cost. We will always offer to repair before suggesting a replacement.

Can I return a piece?

+

Off-the-shelf pieces can be returned within fourteen days as long as they have not been used. Bespoke commissions are made for you, so they are not returnable. We ask you to be sure before approving the design.
